The Laurel Health Centers wish you a safe Memorial Day weekend to connect with friends and family as we remember and honor the service and sacrifice of so many. All Laurel Health sites will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026, in recognition of the holiday. Our 24/7 nurse triage team will be available to answer health questions and relay information, but if you need immediate medical assistance over the holiday, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Thank you to everyone who supported Laurel Health's purse bingo fundraiser. Together, we raised $9,207 to support pediatric dental services! Between the 20 bingo rounds and specialty purse raffles, 25 beautiful luxury handbags found new homes with our lucky winners. The event also included tasty concessions made by our employees and volunteers, a 50/50 cash prize, rip ticket winners, and wonderful raffle prizes donated by Laurel Health and generous local businesses.

Laurel Health will host a purse bingo fundraiser on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 12 pm in the Wellsboro Fire Dept. Annex building, located at 21 East Ave. in Wellsboro, PA. Concessions, raffle tickets, a 50/50 drawing, and rip tickets will also be available for purchase during the event. Suggested donation is $35/person. Group seating available at a discount. Please purchase tickets and reserve your seating in advance at 570-293-1861.

To make mammograms more accessible in Sullivan County, Laurel Health has coordinated with Geisinger to bring their mobile mammography unit to Laporte, PA on April 27, 2026. To schedule a mammogram at the mobile unit, please call Geisinger directly at 800-275-6401 and state you’d like to be seen on 4/27/2026 when the mobile mammo unit is at the Sullivan County Laurel Health Center (217 King St. Laporte, PA).

Mandy Cunningham, certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C), is now providing same-day care at the Elkland Laurel Health Center, located at 103 Forestview Dr. in Elkland, PA, and treating acute issues via Laurel Health’s walk-in care programs in Wellsboro and Mansfield. She enjoys working through complex medical issues and making meaningful contributions to her community.
