A flu shot is your best shot to beat influenza! Laurel Health will hold drive-through flu shot clinics throughout October at Laurel Pediatrics and all seven Laurel Health Center locations. Participants are encouraged to schedule ahead by calling the Laurel Health office of their choice, but walk-ins can be accommodated. Can't make it to an event? Plan Ahead for Disasters: How to Build an Emergency Kit and Family Plan

Laurel Health Expands Walk-in Care to the Troy LHC

Patients can now walk into the Troy Laurel Health Center at 45 Mud Creek Rd. and ask to be seen by the walk-in care provider on shift from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Walk-ins see a provider dedicated to walk-in care that day to avoid impacting appointment times for scheduled patients. This same-day access is designed to address healthcare needs that require prompt attention but do not warrant a trip to the ER like UTIs, tick bites, rashes, and strep throat. Routine follow-ups and wellness exams will continue to be scheduled visits.

What You Need to Know About Renewing Your Medicaid Application

Early in the COVID-19 pandemic, the Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services (CMS) temporarily waived the Medicaid renewal requirements so that people wouldn't lose coverage in the midst of a public health crisis. CMS is now resuming its original process for renewing Medicaid coverage. If you’re currently on Medicaid, you’ll be asked to complete a renewal application this year. Have questions or need help? All Laurel Health sites will be closed on Monday, September 4 in recognition of the holiday, including all Laurel Health Centers, Laurel Pediatrics, Laurel Dental, and Laurel Behavioral Health. Have a question over the holiday? Our 24/7 nurse triage team will be available to help address non-urgent health questions and review appointments after hours. If you need immediate medical assistance over the holiday, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
