Laurel Health Centers to Centralize Services as Part of COVID-19 Strategy

By Kristy Warren

Next week, the Laurel Health Centers will begin launching more telehealth appointment slots by phone and video chat as well as consolidating some clinic services into central treatment hubs as part of their proactive Coronavirus (COVID-19) strategy.

Effective Monday, March 30, the Blossburg Laurel Health Center’s providers and staff are temporarily transitioning to the nearby Mansfield center for in-person appointments, located at 416 S Main St. in Mansfield, PA. To schedule an appointment, please call 570-662-2002.

“Rest assured, all patients will continue to receive the care they need when they need it,” assures James A. Nobles, President & CEO of the Laurel Health Centers. “This move is part of the health system’s detailed COVID-19 strategy to ensure patient, public, staff, and clinic safety throughout the duration of the pandemic. We are centralizing some services proactively based on access and patient populations to extend our hours to better serve our community around-the-clock. We are available by phone 24/7 to triage patient concerns, address health questions, and schedule appointments.”
