Clinical Specialties & Areas of Focus:

Kristy Reinheimer is a certified registered family nurse practitioner who is passionate about helping her patients live healthier, happier lives. She is seeing patients of all ages with a focus on treating acute and chronic health conditions at our Mansfield and Wellsboro Laurel Health Centers.

About Kristy Reinheimer, FNP-C:

"I really enjoy connecting with my patients and listening closely to what they have to say about their health and wellness," Kristy shares. "What I find most rewarding about medicine is being able to make someone feel better—to comfort them through hard times and to work together on improving their health by better managing chronic conditions.”

Kristy brings over 15 years of nursing experience in a diverse array of healthcare environments, including critical care, long term care, psychiatric care, internal medicine, and administration.

“I was drawn to serving rural communities because I live in a rural area and saw the need for comprehensive healthcare close to home. In rural family medicine, you see it all, and I enjoy the balancing act of treating both acute and chronic care needs.”

In her free time, she enjoys traveling with family, gardening, and reading. Kristy Reinheimer, FNP-C, is accepting new patients at the Mansfield Laurel Health Center and Wellsboro Laurel Health Center. To make an appointment, call 570-662-2002 (Mansfield) or 570-724-1010 (Wellsboro).

Education:

Kristy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Keuka College in New York and her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Illinois with a concentration on family medicine practice. She began her medical career as a licensed practical nurse (LPN), going on to become a registered nurse (RN) and a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C).
